What kind of financial investment is involved in buying a 5 Guys hamburger restaurant franchise?
Interested in buying a franchies/opening one in Charlotte NC, what does one cost total?
I’m not sure about exact numbers but in the 10’s of thousands. Most franchises cost 100k+ because of equipement, advertising, and other services involved. 5 guys is a great restaurant, if you have the cash, go for it.
getting hired to do restaurant inspections for a big franchise and check on their franchised stores, how much?
I am going to be doing between 20 to 35 inspections per month, do routine monthly inspections on each of their restaurants that are franchised. like food, cleanliness, operations, etc. How much do you think I should be asking for each restaurant inspection?
I was thinking $60 or $70 per store. It takes around 2 hours or maybe even longer. I appreciate your help, again this is for a big 5000 restaurant Sub franchise.
Thanks
Will be more like 25-35/store

Do you know the name of the restaurant franchise geared towards women?
It is supposed to be along the lines of Hooters but with only hot guys serving. I’ve heard there’s a lot of financial backing.
i don’t know of any, but that would be a good thing to have for us ladies to have around. good luck
How to do I Increase my franchise restaurant sales and guest count ?
I have a franchise restaurant, fast casual concept.. How do I increase slaes and guest count ? I have tried newspaper, advertising, frequent dinner program, fundraiser, word of mouth, and much more.. no effect.
Lunch is great, but dinner is not too great.
The concept is complex to run, there is no franchise support..
there is a subway next to me doing nearly $3000 a day, and several other concepts.
My concept sales pasta, all kinds of different dishes…the interior is great, the food is great, everyone loves it, but no body knows about the concept.
I dont have much money to do any high end advertising…
What else can I do to get my sales up ?
Please help.
Ben
Increase your average ticket: get your staff to upsell ( have an incentive for the staff person who upsells the most)
Hand out coupons during your lunch rush with some sort of discount, free appetizer etc when they return for dinner within the next seven days: cheap advertising!
Work with a local radio station: maybe a live remote
Online coupons on your website
Dazzle your current customers with exceptional service…word of mouth advertising is the most effective
Post dinner specials: say, after 8:00, buy 1, second 1/2 price

Bertucci’s?
Given that the income for a franchise restaurant manager is directly tied to profits, ?
while the income for the manager of a company-owned restaurant is paid a flat fee, we might expect profits to be
A. Lower in franchise restaurants
B. Higher in franchise restaurants
C. Equal in both types of restaurants
D. PROFIT comparisons can not be made based on the given information
I don’t think you can give a definitive answer either way without more information. Research has shown however that in the UK at least the public prefer to buy from franchised businesses.

For a franchise restaurant, do i have to be available all the time?
If I open a franchise restaurant, besides providing capital do i personally have to be around all the time.
Lets take KCF for an example. If i open a kcf, do i have to stay in the restaurant all the time?
Any other usefull info about franchise business will help too.
Thanks
For a fast food place, it would sink or swim based upon the time that you put it to it. One thing to consider when opening a franchise is the requirements that would be part of the agreement. A page I found which deals with the various conditions you might encounter when dealing with what they call "franchise compliance" is http://www.francompliance.com. It seems to have some useful information about franchise compliance and things you might run into when opening a franchise.
